Willimantic – Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian was injured in an incident in Willimantic last Monday evening.
At approximately 8:47 p.m., authorities received reports of an accident near the intersection of Route 66 (Main Street) and Walnut Street. According to responders, a pedestrian was injured by a pole after it was struck by a vehicle. The 50-year-old female victim was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver immediately fled the area and remains at large, while the vehicle was later declared as stolen.
