Wethersfield – Interstate Accident
An accident was reported on the highway in Wethersfield early yesterday evening.
At 6:08 p.m., calls came in of a crash on the southbound lanes of I-91. Emergency teams dispatched to the area discovered a truck accident about a third of a mile before Exit 24 (Route 99). Authorities have yet to disclose the number of involved motorists, but both fire and EMS crews were requested on-site. The incident blocked off a portion of the interstate, though road crews were able to clear all obstructions before 7:00 p.m. No word yet on DUI or entrapment.
