Westport – Highway Crash Results In Delays And Injuries
A highway crash in Westport yesterday caused delays and motorist injuries.
Just a few minutes after 8:00 a.m., reports came in of an accident on the southbound side of Merritt Parkway, between exits 44 and 42, involving three vehicles. Injuries were reported, and officials have cordoned off the left lane of the highway, resulting in delays stretching six miles following the accident. The identities of those involved and additional information relevant to the incident have yet to be released by authorities.
