Weston – Road Closure After Pole Accident

Route 53 in Weston was blocked off for several hours following an accident last Saturday.

Multiple emergency and repair teams were dispatched to Newtown Turnpike after authorities received reports of a crash near Valley Forge Road. According to officials, a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, resulting in significant damage and injuries. Responders were forced to block off a section of the roadway to allow repair teams to fix the damaged telephone pole. All affected motorists have since been tended to by paramedics, and the crash site has since been cleared. No word yet on the cause of the crash.
