Waterbury – Interstate Crash Update
A motorist died after a highway accident in Waterbury last Thursday evening.
Authorities have released updates regarding the recent crash on the westbound side of I-84 crossing Waterbury, at exit 18 (off-ramp to West Main Street and Highland Avenue). Two people were reportedly thrown off their vehicle; one died in the incident. The other motorist was brought to Waterbury Hospital for treatment. Officials have yet to release the identity of the person who died as they still have to contact the victim’s family. The case is still under investigation. Further updates will be released when appropriate.
