Waterbury – Hit-And-Run Incident
A hit-and-run crash was reported in Waterbury Monday evening.
Witnesses were at the scene on Brewster Street when a stolen Hyundai Tucson with multiple occupants ignored a stop sign and crashed into a Subaru Forester. The driver of the Subaru sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment, while at least six people exited the Hyundai and fled the crash site. According to officials, the Hyundai was reported stolen, though authorities have yet to disclose when and where it happened. This case is currently under investigation.
