Wallingford – Highway Accident
State and local officials responded to a highway crash in Wallingford yesterday.
The incident was reported at around midday and prompted authorities to dispatch emergency crews to the northbound lanes of Route 15. Two vehicles collided between Exits 65 and 66, resulting in injuries and blockage of the right lane. Fire and EMS crews were on hand to assist motorists involved in the incident, while other road crews were able to quickly clear the right lane of obstructions. Authorities have yet to specify the number of people affected by the crash and will do so, as well as provide other details, when appropriate.
