Vernon – Multiple Injuries In Crash
Several motorists were injured in an evening crash in Vernon last Sunday.
Fire and EMS crews responded to an area on Grove Street and discovered a still-unspecified number of vehicles involved in a crash. Three people sustained injuries in the incident. Firefighters had to extricate one of the victims, after which all of them were transported to the hospital for treatment. The crash forced the closure of the roadway that lasted about an hour. The area has since been cleared. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident and are asking possible witnesses to contact them right away.
Crash responders still have to deal with vehicle entrapment despite the presence of safety features in almost all modern vehicles. Because of the risk of injuries in these incidents, identifying causes/culprits is important if future accidents are to be avoided. These things said, it’s also important to remember that motorists injured in similar situations have options at their disposal. Talking to legal experts can help them make sense of these options.
