Vernon – Motorcycle Crash With Injuries
A motorcycle with two riders crashed in Vernon early yesterday morning.
According to Vernon Police, the accident occurred on Route 83 (Talcottville Road). A motorcycle crashed, resulting in critical injuries to two people. Emergency crews attended to the victims and requested LifeStar support. The male rider was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Hospital, while his female passenger was airlifted by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital. Both remain in critical condition. Authorities closed a section of Route 83, between Thrall and Dart Hill Roads, while they investigated the accident scene. The identities of the victims and other details pertinent to the incident will be released by officials when appropriate.
