Vernon – Car Crashes Into Building

Injuries were reported after a car crashed into a building in Vernon yesterday.

Authorities responded to Vernon Avenue at West Main Street after receiving reports of a crash in the area. According to responders, a vehicle crashed into a building, resulting in injuries to a still-unspecified number of motorists. The building also incurred heavy damage which prompted local officials to call in building inspectors to assess the structure. EMS crews were requested on-site to tend to people injured in the incident. As of posting time, everyone affected has been accounted for by emergency crews. The case is currently being investigated.
