Trumbull – Highway Crash With Entrapment
Two vehicles collided on Route 15 in Trumbull yesterday morning.
Emergency teams were dispatched to Merritt Parkway North and discovered a two-car collision between Exits 52 and 53. Firefighters and paramedics were requested on-site and had to extricate one motorist trapped inside one of the crashed vehicles. The victim was then transported to the hospital for treatment. The accident site was cleared at around 9:00 a.m. The case is currently under active investigation. Officials have not identified anyone yet and will do so, as well as release more details, in due time.
