Trumbull – Entrapment On Highway
A vehicle rolled over on the highway in Trumbull last Saturday.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of Merritt Parkway (Route 15) crossing Trumbull, near Exit 50. According to authorities, a vehicle rolled over in the area, trapping two occupants. The vehicle also caught fire, prompting fire crews to extricate the trapped motorists as quickly as possible. The victims have since been taken to the hospital for treatment. The crash was reported at approximately 4:20 p.m. and officials were able to clear the scene by 5:20 p.m. The case remains under investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
