Trumbull – DUI-Related Accident
Two vehicles collided in Trumbull last Monday.
Authorities responded to Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), just in front of the Woodland Hills compound, after receiving reports of a crash in the area. 28-year-old Alan Sierer was leaving the complex when he collided with another vehicle traveling on Route 111. Multiple fire and EMS teams quickly arrived in the area to assist all affected motorists. According to officials, they administered field sobriety tests on Sierer. He was immediately arrested after failing all of them. He is now facing charges of driving under the influence and failure to heed to a stop sign.
Regardless of circumstances, driving under the influence is a serious offense, and these negligent individuals should immediately be taken off the road. People who are injured due to the reckless behavior of these drivers are advised to seek legal guidance because, under appropriate circumstances, filing for damages may be a suitable course of action.
