Trumbull – Arrest Following DUI Crash
A motorist was arrested following a crash in Trumbull last Saturday.
Authorities responded to reports of a crash near the intersection of Monroe Turnpike and Trefoil Drive. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles that collided in the area. Moderate damage and injuries were reported. The driver of one of the crashed cars, 40-year-old Manny Goncalves, was apprehended after responders noticed his erratic behavior. Field sobriety tests were performed which he failed. He was subsequently arrested and charged and is now scheduled to appear in court.
