Torrington – Motorists Injured In Crash

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Torrington yesterday.

A few minutes after 1:00 p.m., 36-year-old Brian Shaw was driving his 1993 Toyota Corolla; with his father, 61-year-old Raymond Shaw, as his passenger; when their vehicle suddenly swerved off the roadway in front of 928 Highland Avenue. The vehicle rolled over before coming to a stop. Both occupants sustained injuries in the crash and were transported by responders to separate hospitals for treatment. Brian Shaw was released soon after, while Raymond Shaw is still in critical condition. Officials have yet to determine if another vehicle was involved and are still investigating the incident.
