Tolland – Culprit Identified In Highway Crash
The driver of the SUV that crashed into a state agency vehicle in Tolland has now been identified.
The incident occurred on the eastbound side of I-84 crossing Tolland, near exit 68. Last Tuesday, a 56-year-old Department of Transportation employee was climbing inside a state agency vehicle he was operating when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2014 Nissan Murano being driven by a 65-year-old man from Massachusetts. The state employee was thrown off his vehicle and onto the pavement. He was immediately transported to Rockville General Hospital after complaining of pain in his neck, back and legs.
