A truck driver was charged in Vernon for negligence and making false statements.

31-year-old Thomas Fraser was just charged in connection to a May 20 incident where two motorists were injured. The accident occurred in the area of 700 Talcottville Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. Fraser was driving a tractor-trailer when a tire flew off his vehicle, hitting a Subaru that was traveling on the southbound side of the road. He was confronted by a witness who followed him to an apartment complex nearby but just continued driving his vehicle. He is now facing several charges related to the incident.
