Cromwell – Stolen Vehicle Crash

A larceny suspect was arrested following a crash in Cromwell last Thursday.

At approximately 4:44 p.m., Frederick Dart III was reportedly driving a stolen vehicle on Main Street when he swerved onto the opposite lane, crashing onto the curb and colliding with another vehicle that was attempting to leave a driveway near Reiman Drive. The driver of the second vehicle was hospitalized following the incident, while Dart attempted to flee the area and was apprehended near Shadow Lane. Dart is currently facing multiple charges related to this and other incidents. This case is still under active investigation, and authorities are encouraging witnesses to contact them right away.

Cromwell – Motorcycle Crash Victims Identified

Authorities have released an update regarding a recent motorcycle crash in Cromwell that resulted in two fatalities.

58-year-old Thomas Varricchio and 50-year-old Patricia Capsolas-Bonavita, both from Rocky Hill, were riding a three-wheeled motorcycle when they crashed in front of 429 Main Street. They were thrown off their vehicle and killed in the crash. Authorities have yet to discover the involvement of other vehicles in the incident and are still investigating the crash. Cromwell – Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Two motorists died in a motorcycle accident in Cromwell last Saturday evening.

At approximately 9:42 p.m., local authorities received reports of a crash in front of 429 Main Street and immediately dispatched emergency crews to the area. According to officials, a motorcycle with two riders crashed at the scene, resulting in critical injuries to both victims.
