A tree crash closed down an arterial road in Killingworth yesterday morning.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., authorities were alerted to a crash on Route 80 in the area of the Killingworth Reservoir. Fire and EMS crews quickly arrived at the scene and discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a roadside tree, knocking it down and resulting in injuries.
