Stratford – Highway Crash Injures Several Motorists
Several people were injured in a highway accident in Stratford yesterday.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. on the southbound side of I-95 crossing Stratford, near exit 30. According to officials, a semitrailer hit a minivan with four occupants, injuring everyone involved. The crash also caused diesel fuel to spill from the truck onto the highway, forcing authorities to close several lanes of the highway for a few hours. Five people were transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The accident is still being investigated by officials.
