Stratford – Highway Crash

An accident blocked off a portion of the highway in Stratford late yesterday evening.

A crash occurred on the northbound lanes of I-95, about a fifth of a mile before Exit 33 (Ferry Boulevard), at approximately 9:30 p.m. Emergency crews dispatched to the crash site discovered injuries after a vehicle accident involving a still-unspecified number of vehicles. Paramedics were called in to assist those affected by the incident — all motorists involved have since been accounted for. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident and have yet to identify anyone pending the results of their inquiry. This story will be updated as soon as officials release more info.

Authorities will always follow established protocols when dealing with road accidents. The first goal would always be to secure crash sites so that involved parties can be assisted properly, followed by a thorough investigation of these incidents. The second point is of particular interest to aggrieved parties because identifying accident culprits will allow them to explore legal options that can help them cope and find closure.
