Stratford – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Update

Authorities have released an update regarding last Wednesday’s pedestrian accident in Stratford.

60-year-old Levern Hall was killed after he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross I-95 near Exit 32. The car was driven by 57-year-old Meriam Jones. Hall was pronounced dead at the scene. Based on data collected so far, authorities have not found any ill-intent or negligence on the part of Jones, and Hall’s death is still considered an accident. Officials continue to investigate the incident and are encouraging anyone with relevant info to contact them as soon as possible.

Many road accidents can take months to investigate, with authorities studying all angles/possibilities before making any conclusion. Their end goal would always be the accurate identification of culprits/causes so that liable parties can be taken off the road. That said, motorists or pedestrians injured in incidents involving negligence are advised to consult legal experts so that their cases can be thoroughly examined.
