Stamford – Highway Accident

Officials responded to a highway crash in Stamford yesterday morning.

At 7:48 a.m., an accident on Route 15 South was reported to state and local officials. The incident occurred between Exits 34 and 33 and prompted authorities to dispatch firefighters and paramedics to the area. The left lane was blocked off following the crash to allow responders to assist all affected motorists. The number of involved vehicles has not yet been disclosed and the crash site was cleared a few minutes past 9:00 a.m. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and will release more details in due time.
