Stafford – Several Injuries In Charity Event
Several people were injured when a golf cart they were riding in overturned last Sunday.
The Sun Valley Beach Club on Old Springfield Road hosted a concert last weekend benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Connecticut. At approximately 6:09 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of an accident inside the property and discovered an overturned golf cart that injured at least six people. Five of the victims were transported to a local trauma center, while one declined treatment. Authorities are still investigating the crash and will release more information as they become available.
While this accident is still being investigated, it’s important to note that injuries caused by negligence or product defects, if established in this case, can entitle those involved to file for damages/compensation if legal experts deem circumstances to be appropriate.
