An early morning crash closed Route 30 in both directions yesterday.
A few minutes after 9:00 a.m., police and fire officials responded to a report of a crash on Route 30 crossing Stafford, near the Route 30 (also known as Crystal Lake Road) and Clearwater Drive intersection. A silver SUV skidded off the road and crashed into a tree. Officials reported a strong odor in the area, indicating a fuel leak in the damaged vehicle.
