Southington – Weekend Crash Update
Authorities just released more info regarding last Saturday’s crash in Southington.
Shortly past 1:00 a.m. last Saturday, 23-year-old Vincent Fairbank and 21-year-old Allissa Ducas, both of Meriden, were traveling east on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in a 2008 BMW when they collided with a Subaru driven by 63-year-old Toby Durgan of Southington near Orchard Lane. Durgan and Ducas sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital by responders, while Fairbank was pronounced dead at the scene. Southington officials are still investigating the incident and continue to request possible witnesses to contact their office as soon as possible.
