Southington – Intersection Crash
A teen was injured in a crash in Southington late Friday evening.
The accident occurred at around 10:18 p.m. at the intersection of Clark Street and Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike (Route 322). A 17-year-old girl driving a blue Nissan collided with a Honda and was forced off the roadway, crashing into a utility pole in the process. The teen sustained serious injuries in the crash and was quickly tended to EMS crews. Authorities have yet to provide information about the other vehicle (Honda) and its occupants. The crash is currently under investigation. Officials will release updates as they become available.
