While many pedestrian incidents don’t exhibit signs of ill-intent, these cases will still be investigated thoroughly to determine if negligence or reckless behavior could be involved. The discovery of these factors may allow the state to file appropriate charges against suspects, as well as allow injured/aggrieved parties to file legal claims that can help them cope post-accident and eventually find closure.
