Sharon – Motorist Trapped In Car After Accident
One person was trapped inside a vehicle involved in an accident in Sharon yesterday morning.
A two-car crash occurred on Route 343 (Amenia Road), near the New York-Connecticut border, at approximately 9:20 a.m. Emergency crews had to extricate a person trapped inside a car. The area around Sharon Valley Road was cordoned off by authorities immediately after the crash. By 12:30 p.m., the area was reopened/cleared. Officials have yet to release more information about the incident pending an investigation. More details will be provided when appropriate.
