Plainville – Suspect Considering Plea In Road Injury Case

A motorist facing multiple charges related to a road incident in Plainfield is currently considering a plea deal.

On June 22, 2018, 26-year-old Johnathon Stell was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck at the intersection of Broad and Park Street when he crashed into a Honda Civic. The driver of the Honda sustained injuries in the crash. Stell fled the area following the collision and was later apprehended at his residence. He was subsequently charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility, making an improper turn, and first-degree reckless endangerment among other charges. The state recently offered a plea bargain, and Stell is currently considering the offer.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding road incidents and the legal proceedings that follow them, bringing suspects/culprits to justice will always be the primary goal of investigators. That said, people involved in various road-related situations should have options at their disposal. Experts can evaluate their cases and recommend appropriate courses of action.
