Plainville – Rush-Hour Highway Crash

A rush-hour crash occurred on the highway in Plainville yesterday.

At around 4:54 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a crash on the eastbound lanes of Route 72 and discovered an accident involving a still-unspecified number of vehicles. The crash occurred about a mile before the exit to I-84 and forced road crews to close down a section of the highway. EMS crews have since tended to motorists injured in the incident, and all lanes have since been cleared. Officials have yet to release the identities of anyone affected by the crash and will do so when appropriate.

Rush-hour highway accidents happen almost every day, and authorities will always show dedication in responding to these incidents. That said, the work investigators do in establishing liability in these cases is worth following as this has several benefits. It allows authorities to bring culprits to justice, as well as providing opportunities for victims of these events to file for damages or otherwise pursue options that will help them find closure.
