Plainville – Highway Vehicle Accident
Authorities were alerted to a vehicle accident in Plainville yesterday.
At approximately 5:24 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Route 72 after receiving reports of a crash about a tenth of a mile before Exit 1 (Route 177). EMS crews quickly arrived at the scene to assist those injured in the incident, while other crews immediately started cleanup operations. Officials declared the site cleared less than half an hour later. The identities of those involved have yet to be disclosed by authorities pending an investigation.
