A nighttime crash was reported in Pawcatuck last weekend.
The incident was reported to authorities at 8:52 p.m., prompting officials to send crash teams to I-95 North. The crash occurred more than a mile past Exit 92 (Route 2), near the Connecticut-Rhode Island border, and involved a still-unspecified number of vehicles and motorists. The accident scene was blocked off for more than an hour as responders assisted affected motorists and removed road debris.
