Oxford – Motorist Hospitalized After Crash
One person was seriously hurt after an accident in Oxford last Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:07 a.m., emergency crews responded to the area in front of 10 Park Road and discovered a vehicle that had fallen off a bridge. The driver was trapped by a guardrail that pierced the passenger area of the car. Firefighters had to extricate the motorist, after which EMS crews tended to the victim’s injuries. Officials have yet to identify that person as the accident is still being investigated. Updates will be provided by authorities when appropriate.
There have been instances where product defects have caused single-vehicle accidents, so this factor will be considered when investigating this type of crash. That said, if investigators discover any form of negligence not connected to injured parties, those victims will have the option of filing for damages if their legal counsel determines it as their best course of action.
