Old Saybrook – Two Hospitalized After Highway Incident
Two people were seriously injured in Old Saybrook last Sunday.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of Route 9 (Chester Bowles Highway), between exits 2 and 3. A vehicle with two occupants was traveling on that route when it hit a deer that suddenly crossed the highway. According to local officials, the two occupants of the vehicle were injured in the crash and were immediately transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
