Old Greenwich – Pedestrian Injured In Crash
A pedestrian was seriously hurt after she was hit by a vehicle in Old Greenwich last Friday morning.
The woman was attempting to cross Sound Beach Avenue at around 9:50 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle traveling south and making a turn towards the Arcadia Parking Lot. She sustained serious injuries and was immediately taken to Greenwich Hospital by responders. Her current status has yet to be disclosed by officials. No charges have been filed yet, and the incident is still under active investigation. Witnesses are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
Authorities have to investigate this and other cases thoroughly so that liability can be accurately established. Any involved party may cause similar incidents, not just those operating vehicles. That said, anyone injured in pedestrian incidents can seek legal counsel so that options can be explored.
