Old Greenwich – Pedestrian Incident Update

Authorities just released an update regarding last month’s pedestrian accident in Old Greenwich.

62-year-old Regina Dowling was walking on Sound Beach Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle attempting to turn into a parking lot in the area. Dowling sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized following the incident. She was hit by a 2015 Honda CR-V driven by an 82-year-old resident of Greenwich. After around a week in the hospital, Dowling died last Thursday, December 5. As of posting time, no charges have been filed and officials are still investigating the incident. Anyone with relevant info is encouraged to contact authorities and contribute to the investigation.
