Old Greenwich – Pedestrian Incident Update
Authorities just released an update regarding last month’s pedestrian accident in Old Greenwich.
62-year-old Regina Dowling was walking on Sound Beach Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle attempting to turn into a parking lot in the area. Dowling sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized following the incident. She was hit by a 2015 Honda CR-V driven by an 82-year-old resident of Greenwich. After around a week in the hospital, Dowling died last Thursday, December 5. As of posting time, no charges have been filed and officials are still investigating the incident.
