Norwich – Single-Vehicle Crash Update

Officials just released more details regarding last weekend’s crash in Norwich.

At around 4:30 p.m., Kristi Daden was leaving her home and driving on School Street when she lost control of her vehicle. Her car crashed into a fence, then rolled over before landing on its roof on the adjacent Court Street. Daden sustained serious injuries but was not tended to right away as EMS teams could not reach her due to adverse weather conditions last weekend. Instead, responding firefighters constructed improvised equipment that allowed them to safely move Daden towards an ambulance waiting nearby. She has since been hospitalized and is currently nursing multiple broken ribs. Authorities will release more updates when appropriate.

This case exemplifies the dedication emergency responders will always exhibit when dealing with various incidents. In this case, they were forced to break protocol and create improvised solutions that probably saved the life of the victim. These things said, accidents are traumatic events for people, so avenues that can help them cope and find closure should be readily available. Legal experts can help victims explore and pursue these options.
