Norwalk – Utility Pole Crash
A box truck crashed into a utility pole in Norwalk yesterday afternoon.
At around 3:35 p.m., a box truck traveling on East Avenue crashed into a utility pole near Route 1. The utility pole broke in the incident, while the vehicle sustained moderate damage. Fire and EMS teams were quickly dispatched to the area to assist everyone involved in the incident. Repair crews from Eversource were also called in to fix the damaged pole. As of posting time, everyone involved has been accounted for by authorities. The crash is currently under investigation and officials will release more info once the cause has been identified.
