North Haven – Hit-And-Run Suspect Charged
Authorities just released more information about the hit-and-run case in North Haven last March.
40-year-old Mark Rubino was recently charged by officials in connection to a March 11 incident where he hit and killed a pedestrian walking on Ridge Road. 57-year-old Maureen Munzer sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital shortly after. According to police, Rubino is claiming he thought he hit a deer that night but could not adequately explain why he left the scene of the accident instead of staying. His next court hearing is in August.
