North Haven – Hit-And-Run Suspect Arrested
Authorities have arrested a hit-and-run suspect in North Haven last Friday.
40-year-old Mark Rubino of Meriden was arrested by authorities in connection to a March 11 incident where a mother walking with her children were hit by a vehicle driven by Rubino on Ridge Road, near its intersection with Hickory Hill Road. The victim, Maureen Munzner, sustained serious injuries and eventually died due to the incident. Instead of staying, Rubino left the accident scene. He is now facing charges of misconduct, driving without insurance, failure to drive in the proper lane, and evasion of responsibility in operating a motor vehicle.
