Newtown – Rollover Crash
An SUV crashed and rolled over in Newtown late Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of 51 The Old Road at approximately 5:41 p.m. According to reports, an SUV was on a curved section of the roadway when it swerved onto the curb, losing control and crashing into a tree, rolling over before coming to a stop. Jake Dandrea and Steven Berard, the driver and passenger in the vehicle, and both 16 years old, were evaluated and treated on-site by EMS responders. The crash was investigated, and Dandrea was eventually issued a ticket for failure to drive to the right.
