Newtown – Injuries After Two-Car Collision
A collision between two vehicles happened in Newtown last Saturday.
At around noon, Newtown Police responded to a report of a crash that occurred on Mt. Pleasant Road (also known as Route 6) near its intersection with Johnnie Cake Lane. The crash involved two vehicles and both drivers sustained injuries from the incident. Emergency crews immediately transported both victims to Danbury Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of serious injuries. The identities of those involved and additional details have yet to be disclosed by officials.
