New Haven – Teen Injured In Shooting Incident

A teenager was injured in a shooting incident in New Haven Wednesday afternoon.

Officials received reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Bouchet Lane and Eastern Street and immediately sent responders to the area. At approximately 4:00 p.m., authorities arrived on-site and found a 17-year-old teenage girl who sustained an injury after her residence was shot at by an unidentified suspect. The victim was immediately transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment.
