New Haven – Resident Struck By Vehicle
A fatal pedestrian incident was reported in New Haven last Wednesday.
At 7:39 p.m., authorities received reports of a crash in the vicinity of 383 Whalley Avenue and immediately sent responders to the area. A 55-year-old man was reportedly hit by a passing vehicle. He was quickly taken to New Haven Hospital but was declared dead soon after. The driver of the striking vehicle stopped at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
