New Haven – Officer Injured In Hit-And-Run

A police officer was injured in a pedestrian incident in New Haven last Saturday evening.

The incident occurred on Long Wharf Drive. At approximately 10:15 p.m., a local police officer was hit by a passing car and sustained injuries. According to officials, instead of stopping, the vehicle fled the area. The victim has since been tended to by medical personnel. The identity of the police officer has yet to be disclosed pending an investigation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
