New Haven – Man Wounded By Gunshot

A man was seriously injured by gunshot in New Haven last Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 5:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to Brookside Avenue and discovered a 22-year-old man injured on the side of the road between Level Street and Wilmot Road. According to responders, the victim sustained a gunshot wound from a still unidentified assailant. He was immediately transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment where he is currently listed as stable.
