New Haven – Intersection Rollover Crash

Local officials were alerted to a rollover crash in New Haven last Thursday evening.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of East Grand and Quinnipiac Avenues last Thursday after two vehicles collided in the area. According to reports, one of the involved vehicles rolled over in the crash, resulting in entrapment and injuries. The scene was quickly blocked off to allow responders to assist everyone involved. As of posting time, all motorists affected by the incident have been accounted for and assisted by authorities. The crash is currently under investigation and officials will release updates when appropriate.

While it doesn’t happen as frequently as it used to, rollover crashes and vehicle fires still occur despite the relative safety touted in all modern vehicles. This can be attributed to the severity of some of these incidents, but the possibility of product defects and negligence should not be overlooked. Of course, investigators will always look at all possible causes to achieve their goal of accurately establishing liability. This will not only bring culprits to justice but also allow victims to explore legal options that can help them find closure.
