New Haven – Crash Fatalities Identified
Authorities have just identified the victims of a recent accident in New Haven.
32-year-old Emmanuel Torres and 42-year-old Carlso Kercado, both from New Haven, were walking on a sidewalk in front of Justin’s Deli Market at the intersection of Blatchley and Grand Avenues when they were hit by car with two occupants. Both pedestrians sustained critical injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead soon after. The occupants of the car also sustained injuries but are in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation. More updates will be provided as they become available.
The victims in this incident should not be assigned any liability as they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. This case highlights a scenario where victims (or their families) should consult a legal expert to determine what their best course of action would be. It would only be appropriate as finding closure after these tragic events should be the primary goal for everyone.
