New Fairfield – Injuries In Rollover Crash

A motorist was injured in a crash in New Fairfield last Friday evening.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., a vehicle with an unspecified number of occupants crashed and rolled over on Overbrook Drive. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the area, and they discovered an injured person at the site. EMS crews have since attended to everyone involved in the incident, but no word yet on whether or not anyone was transported to the hospital. The crash blocked off a significant portion of the roadway, but road crews were able to tow the crashed vehicle and clear the site by 9:00 p.m. The incident is still under active investigation.

In most cases, rollover crashes result in injuries to vehicle occupants. These incidents still occur despite the relative safety afforded to motorists by all modern vehicles. With that in mind, identifying the causes of these crashes is important because it will help authorities make changes that can improve road safety for everyone. Not only that, establishing accountability will allow injured parties to explore legal options that can help them cope and eventually find closure.
